Almost everyone has anxiety to some level and unfortunately most people have experienced a traumatic event, whether big or small. A little anxiety can be okay, even helpful if it helps us for example better prepare for a test. However, when anxiety starts to take over and impacts our days and our sleep, it may be time to consider a bit of help learning how to manage anxious thoughts and feelings.

Challenging or traumatic experiences can have a major impact on your well being especially when they leave you with fears, worries, or hard memories to process. Therapy gives people a way to help manage their anxiety, process their concerns, and find more helpful ways of coping with life’s challenges.

I use a variety of techniques to help people manage anxiety and process trauma based on what works best for them. EMDR therapy is a method I am trained in to work specifically with trauma and anxiety. Through online therapy, we can work together to find ways to help control anxious thoughts, relax your mind, and increase positive thoughts and feelings.
